Shipping policy

Effective date: May 11, 2026

This policy describes how Armor Industrial fulfills orders, the carriers we use, and what to do if something goes wrong in transit.

Processing Time

Most in-stock orders are processed within 1–3 business days of order confirmation. Larger orders, special-order items, and quote products may take longer; your account representative will confirm lead time when the order is placed.

Orders placed on weekends or US federal holidays begin processing on the next business day.

Shipping Methods

Orders ship via the carrier shown at checkout. Our standard carriers include:

  • FedEx Ground and Express for parcels under 150 lbs.
  • UPS Ground and Air for parcels under 150 lbs.
  • LTL freight (R+L, Estes, XPO, or equivalent) for palletized shipments and oversized items.
  • Same-day freight is available on in-stock SKUs by phone request. Contact your account representative for routing.

Shipping rates displayed at checkout are calculated from package weight and dimensions. If freight cannot be calculated automatically (typically for LTL shipments), we will contact you with a freight quote before processing the order.

Shipping Destinations

We ship to commercial addresses in the United States. International orders and shipments to residential addresses require advance coordination — please contact us before ordering.

Tracking

You will receive a tracking number by email as soon as your order ships. For LTL freight shipments, the tracking number is the carrier PRO number; the carrier will contact you to schedule delivery.

Damaged or Lost Shipments

  • Damage: inspect every shipment before the driver leaves. If there is visible damage to the packaging, note it on the delivery receipt and contact us within 24 hours. Photographs of the damaged packaging and product are required for a freight claim.
  • Lost shipments: if tracking shows a shipment delivered but you did not receive it, contact us within 7 days so we can open a trace with the carrier.

Backorders

When an item is on backorder, we will email you with the expected ship date. You can choose to wait, substitute with an equivalent product, or cancel the line.

Taxes and Customs

Sales tax is collected for shipments to states where Armor is registered to collect. For tax-exempt purchases, please submit a valid exemption certificate before your first order so we can apply it on file.
